The team behind Radio 105 selected the Yes Tech P3.9 MG7S LED wall for all nineteen dates of the theatrical tour inspired by Lo Zoo di 105, one of Italy’s most popular and provocative radio programs.
The show, titled “Zoo 25 – Veniamo Noi”, brought the irreverent energy of the radio broadcast to life on stage, playing to packed theatres across the country.

For each venue, the production agency entrusted DDM Eventi (Lanciano, Italy) with the setup of a 6 x 3 m LED wall to display all visual content — a demanding task that required a solution combining precision, durability, and professional-grade performance.

The challenge

With all performances staged in indoor theatres, each setup had to be quick and reliable, able to withstand the rigors of daily mounting and dismantling.
The event agency Color Sound, working in collaboration with Mediaset, specified clear technical requirements:
a 3.9 mm pixel pitch, minimum size of 6 x 3 m, high brightness, accurate color rendering, and ease of deployment.

The LED wall was used to display a wide range of content, including jingles, intros, graphic loops, scenic backgrounds, custom video material, Google Maps visuals, and advertising during intermissions.

The solution

The chosen system was the proven and trusted Yes Tech MG7S P3.9, officially distributed in Italy by Audio Effetti.
To build the standard 6 x 3 m LED wall, 72 MG7S panels (500 x 500 mm) were used. For the prestigious Teatro Arcimboldi in Milan, a larger 8 x 4 m configuration was created, using 128 panels.
All installations were suspended from truss systems, with the LED wall raised 1.6 meters above ground level.

Video content was managed via three vMix-powered PCs (main, backup, and scene content), routed through a Blackmagic Design ATEM Mini Pro switcher.
Signal distribution was handled by a pair of NovaStar VX1000 all-in-one controllers, offering 8 main and 8 backup outputs, along with 10 Ethernet ports—capable of managing up to 6.5 million pixels with precision and stability.

The outcome

A high-performance system, built to meet the demands of a touring production and deliver top-quality visuals in every location.

Giuseppe Scutti, head of DDM Eventi, shared his feedback: “We were very pleased with the performance of the Yes Tech MG7S P3.9 system. Everything ran smoothly and installation was fast and hassle-free—crucial for a touring setup that requires repeated assembly and disassembly without risking faults or downtime. The system proved robust and reliable, easily withstanding the demands of transport and frequent use.
We were also impressed by the excellent brightness and color accuracy, even though we were operating in indoor environments.

A project that brought together advanced technology, technical expertise, and great teamwork—delivering a visually impactful and professionally executed tour.
